Because I’m on a roll with this whole sharing my work thing, I wanted to share photos from two recent engagement sessions! What I love most about winter sessions is that the white snow allows for bright, warm skin tones and a color palette that makes my heart sing! All the neutrals and high contrast, please!

I’ll start with Carly and Ryan, who you’ll definitely be seeing in this space again - this time next year when I share their December wedding photos! I love that so many more couples are embracing winter for their weddings. For their engagement session, we began at Freedom of Espresso in Camillus, where we shared some coffee and snuggles inside.

After romping around outside in downtown Camillus, we headed to the Erie Canal Park that’s nearby, where Carly’s mom met us with their sweet fur baby! I love how happy he looks in all of their photos with him.

Carly and Ryan had such a great, clear vision for their shoot and I loved it! From the coffee shop vibes, to photos with their dog, to ending the session with a champagne pop - it’s so special when couples come prepared with ideas, but leave it up to me to play with their vision to make it even better.

Katelyn and Nate also had a great vision for their session! Katelyn originally contacted me knowing they wanted a cozy session with snow flocked trees - which is exactly what we got! It had snowed like crazy the few days before their shoot, so the landscape was covered in a blanket of shining white snow. We met at Greek Peak Mountain Resort because they traveled from Binghamton and it was so fun to shoot somewhere that I don’t normally have the pleasure to!

After we finished driving around looking for the perfect snowy tree spots with them in their formal wear, Katelyn and Nate changed into cozier attire and we shot the rest of their session behind the resort, which has spectacular views of rolling hills with trees in the distance. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day!
